Conditions We Treat
Pauline first became a patient of Nicola in 1995 when she was at the Alton practice and John became a patient shortly after. We followed Nicola to Fleet Chiro clinic and have remained regular patients to date.
Our treatment comprises general half yearly checkups and the occasional specific treatment for example when John had a number of monthly visits to deal with lower back pain.
We both find that the McTimoney technique suits us very well which coupled with Nicola’s skills has helped maintain our skeletal health over the years. Pauline worked as a secretary and the treatment kept neck tension at bay.
We find that Nicola is easy to deal with, has a warm welcoming manner, a sense of humour and gives confident advice during the sessions, treating accordingly. These are the reasons we always look forward to our regular visits and come out feeling much better.

Back Pain
Some of the most common problems we treat are: generalised lower back pain, sacroiliac pain, buttock / gluteal and piriformis pain, sciatica hip pain, leg pain & or weakness / tingling. Also reduced movement in these areas. However, back pain is probably the most common reason people seek help from a chiropractor. Pain is a warning sign that tells us that something is wrong. There can be various causes of back pain such as poor posture, repetitive actions at work or play, trauma, stress or illness, serious underlying problems or referred pain from organs. Chiropractors are trained to identify the problem, provide a diagnosis and, if appropriate, recommend a plan of care. This may involve, massage, mobilisation, manipulation and sometimes acupuncture. We routinely advise about long-term solutions and self help such as posture and lifestyle, ergonomics, exercise and stretches.
Chiropractors have a highly tuned and trained sense of touch and spend many years perfecting the art of locating and correcting misalignments of the vertebrae and joints in the body.
We can advise on relevant medication but not prescribe.
Chiropractic, is a primary care health profession so you do not need a GP referral.
